Hi, I'm Alex.
​I'm a Los Angeles native Mexican makeup artist, but before makeup ever became my career, I was just a creative kid who loved art, fashion, and self-expression. Originally, I thought fashion design was going to be my path, but somewhere along the way I realized makeup carried that same creativity, just in a more personal way.
​A lot of my inspiration started with my mom. I grew up watching her do her makeup, and I loved seeing the way it changed her confidence and energy. Later, watching America's Next Top Model opened my eyes to the artistry behind beauty, fashion, and transtormation.
During my years as a cheerleader, I naturally became the person everyone came to before performances, competitions, dances, and events. I loved being part of those moments, helping people feel confident before stepping into a room.
That slowly turned into prom clients, local bookings around Los Angeles, and eventually the career I've built today.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Experience
Over the last 10+ years, I've worked across beauty, fashion, television, film, and production, including seven years with MAC Cosmetics, where I sharpened my artistry and learned how to create makeup that performs beautifully both in person and on camera.
Since then, I've had the opportunity to work with talent including Saweetie, Alicia Keys, Seal, Chlöe Bailey, and Kehlani, with work featured in Vogue, Essence, BET, Playboy, and more.
MORE THAN MAKEUP
No matter how big the set, campaign, or client is, what matters most to me has never changed. I want people to sit in my chair and feel comfortable, understood, and genuinely taken care of.
My goal is always to create beauty that feels elevated, effortless. and still authentically you.
